- 1835 She was born on the 19th of june 1835 in france to Louis Aubert and Clarice.
- 1859 In 1859 Bishop Pompallier visits his hometown of Lyon to recruit missionaries for his Auckland diocese. Suzanne accepted his invitation.
- 1860 Suzanne set sail for New Zealand on 4th of September 1860 on a whaling ship not suitable for passengers. Suzanne and 22 other missionaries and Bishop Pompallier land at Auckland on 30th of December.
- 1871 Bishop Pompallier died in Paris in 1871 Thomas Croke became the new Bishop of Auckland .He look into Suzanne’s work then set her of to learn more about the catholic maori mission.
- 1874 Suzanne Aubert revivals her learning about the maori mission to Bishop Redwood who is appointed as Bishop of Wellington in 1874.Father Soulas arrives from France and in Hawke’s Bay he constructs a new church at Pakipaki.
- 1885 In 1885, the Sisters help dig the foundations of a new church. The local people join forces with a Wanganui building firm for its construction and, on Christmas Day, Bishop Redwood blesses St Joseph’s Church.
- 1888 Three years after its completed , St Joseph’s Church is burnt down and Suzanne and Sister Magdalen set off on a nationwide year-long collection tour to raise money to rebuild the church.
- 1907 Land is bought in Wellington Island Bay. In 1907 the Home of Compassion is opened, for the care of children and babies.
1926 On the 1st October 1926 at the age of 91, Suzanne Aubert dies surrounded by her Sisters. Crowds gather in the streets for her funeral and the church overflows.It was one of the biggest funeral in nz for a woman.
